Diversity and inclusion programs have broadened their content and tools, according to a study by Novations Group, a global consulting firm based in Boston. To the question (that allowed respondents to select all that applied), "Which of the following are elements of your organization's diversity and inclusion program?" answers were as follows:

Leadership development 50.3 percent
Managing a diverse workforce 44.0 percent
Awareness training 43.4 percent
Mentoring/coaching 40.9 percent
Diversity Council 32.1 percent
Cross-cultural training 31.6 percent
Audit of policies and procedures 27.5 percent
Rewards/recognition 24.9 percent
Affinity groups 23.3 percent
Supplier diversity training 19.7 percent
Diversity and inclusion metrics 19.2 percent
